This was somewhere around last year in Avenues ...we both were extremely tired and we sat here to have a drinks ....

Paul is a french cuisine restaurant...

B had pina colada and i had an orange juice...it was delicious...

The place is nice and good service...

After work 'B' got me 2 slices of cheesecake from Caribou coffee....i was sooo craving for it...

This is the mother of all cheesecakes...i want to try them all....

lol....we just cant get enough of the smothered chicken....Love it.... :)

Yesterday after our workout we were tired & hungry...as usual :)

So we ordered a salad and an orange juice from the gym's cafe....now there was a promotion on it...buy a salad and get a fruit salad free....it was nice...

The salad had sea food salad,salami salad, corn salad, the regular lettuce & cucumber salad, Coleslaw, a chicken salad, a boiled egg & Tabbouleh... The quantity was good...

And the fruit salad had, Granny smith apple,pineapple, kiwi, strawberry & sweet melon ...

This cafe is quite expensive.... so if your really hungry..like eat your arm out hungry then go for it :)

Starbucks @ Kuwait City Near the Roman Catholic Church

Yesterday was Easter Sunday ..so After the Mass we went to Starbucks and ordered a Taza orange juice and i wanted to eat something so i asked the lady on the counter to help me select something good...she showed me the new pizza panini

Usually i enjoy panini...its just tasty and cheesy...

Panini is Italian Sandwich...its basically called as a panino

A toasted panino, colloquially called "toast" by Italians, is made out of two vertical slices of pane in cassetta almost invariably filled with prosciutto and a few of slices of processed cheese, grilled in a sandwich press

Our Starbucks pizza panini had pepperoni slices,olives,pizza sauce & cheese :)

Rib Eye "Again"

After gym we were starving and dieing of hunger and we couldn't take it anymore....

So we decided to go to Rib eye and have something small....

We first started with 2 Orange juice then we were served with the assorted breads...yummoo...

As usual we belted on butter :)

Then For the main course we ordered Smothered Chicken...it was delicious....It had two grilled chicken breasts topped with cream cheese and spiced to flavor...sided with grilled mushroom and onion on a skewer ,some vegetables and a jacket potato with Cheddar cheese and sour cream...

Delicious...we loved it....

Little Caesars @ City Centre

This Friday after a starving morning and afternoon we went to the nearest joint we could find and we happen to pass by little Caesars in City Centre...

Earlier My sister and i used to go there for Open lunch ...which was fun ...the rates are now KD. 1.950 ...

This time i was with B.. we wanted to have something small so we had a medium pizza half n half of Santa Fe and Supreme Supreme... it was nice not bad... but no comparing to peppes and papa john's...

Santa Fe is Chicken, green peppers, onion, and cheese wherehas Supreme Supreme is beef pepperoni, Italian style sausage, Beef ,Mushroom, Green Pepper, Onion & Black Olives...

Mac Donalds is like anytime food...its fun to eat plus reasonable... :)

Spicy mac chicken,big tasty...etc etc...they all are yummm....

Adeaters @ Avenues -7th April 09

Last evening was the Adeaters event @ Avenues..So B and me with colleagues went for it...
It was B's first Adeater's ...i had attended the last year's too...
On entering we recieved gift bags from idea marketing...
This year Special events was in charge of the Adeaters...


The main stage area..with DJ and later on a magician show ...


After the magician show, we all head inside for the show...We had zain gift bags on our seats and off course "the hand" to clap... :)
it opened up with a thanks and a new promotion for zain called as zain create...followed by the show and then off course the intermission... :)

It was "The Food time " :)
Moveinpick hotel was one of the Sponsors...and they had snacks and finger food like... shrimp cocktails, chicken satay,cheese sticks, fish fingers, mini pie, pizza and baby potatoes.... they had baby tomatoes with cheese which was really nice...
Also Dessert like strawberry tart and cinnamon cake topped with strawberry syrup,fruit cake etc...

During this time they had started the Raffel draw and after that we went to get some water and nachos for the rest of the show




These are a few more sponsors...There was cotton candy & popcorn, Edo , red bull ,Nestle Fitness and Nescafe...

The show was nice...We had a series of Audi Ads and a few more interesting ads showcased last evening.
It was a fun night....we both enjoyed it...

Nandos @ Avenues "Our dining Out"

I just love this place...the interior is so elegant,warm and welcoming... both indoor /outdoor seating is perfect....It's also one of my favorite places to dine in, cause ..this is the restaurant where B and i became food buddies... which is very special to me...

Nandos @ Avenues

This time nandos was my treat to B ..we were craving for nandos for so long...that finally we decided to go for it...

We just love nandos...Over all the highest rating from us...we enjoy the food as well as the place..

This time we ordered:

• Bevrages: 2 Orange juice
• Appetizers : Chicken wings with the peri peri dip...yummmmmm
• Platters: Chicken -Full platters (served with salad, corn, colesaw and a basket of bread with butter)

It was spicy but delicious...the bread was so soft and amazing...and the chicken was tender and juicy...yummm....

Rib eye Steak House- Crowne Plaza

Rib eye Again...
We had gone in to check the gym in Crowne plaza...so once we finished with our paper work we went in to have dinner at Rib eye...

The last time we were in Rib eye we had some really good food to eat..so we were hoping this time would be the same...but well it was ok... but the service was great..

• Starter: Assorted Breads with 4 spreads ( love it) the butter is great.. :)
• Appetizers : Raging Bull Chicken Wings ( Chicken wings marinated in rib eye spicy sauce served with blue cheese and chili dip)
• Beverages: Fusion ( lemon and apple with soda and mint)
• Salad: Rib eye's own Caesar ( Romaine Lettuce,garlic croutons,sun dried tomatoes, Parmesan flakes tossed in creamy Caesar dressing)
• Main event : Steaks : fillet Mignon ( 8 oz meat served with mashed potatoes topped with mushroom sauce, corn on Cobb , and chef's vegetables )
• Seafood : Shrimps Rolls ( two skewers of grilled Cajun spiced jumbo shrimps wrapped in beef bacon and served with pilaf rive,tartar sauce and lemon butter sauce.
• Dessert : American Cheesecake ( Philadelphia cheesecake with blueberries inside topped with strawberry sauce)
  

Now the Salad and the Dessert was complimentary..which was very sweet of them...and it was delicious...the cheesecake was creamy and had a good texture and taste to it...the salad had this sun dried tomatoes (which i really like...)
B didn't really enjoy his piece of meat...but he did like the mashed potatoes and i didn't really enjoy my shrimps cause they we not spicy enough for me... but overall we still enjoy our time at Rib eye...

We just didn't choose the right thing to eat this time ...
