The Early Bird- Fahaheel,Kuwait

26th Sept 09, We pulled off an all nighter and got out around 5:50am ...the weather was nice ,except the sun..it was so bright and up that it really gave me troubled eye!!

After a long drive we reach Fahaheel but couldnt find the place for quite some time...so we called The Early Bird to find out...

After say one hour of searching we finally found it and went in to eat!!

its a small cozy dine in,it was packed by the time we reached..

we took a two seater next to the windchimes :)

The walls were decorated with art work ..


B had some coffee with milk and i ordered Fresh Orange Juice!!

We were kind of tired and Very Hungry :)

B ordered 2 cheese Omelet (3 egg omelet loaded with cheddar cheese) & i ordered one Ham & Cheese Omelet (3 egg omelet with cheddar cheese and ham) served with 3 sausages and hash browns / country fried potatoes along with it we had white toast with orange marmalade!!
It was all good, B really liked the sausages ...

Once we finished our Omelet's we ordered pancakes :) we shared it off course

3 warm pancakes topped whipped cream & Strawberries...yumm...we loved it!! it was warm and soft...

The food was good,the place was nice ..something different and the staff was caring and nice!!

I love Breakfasts with B...had a good time...love you :)

The Crepes Cafe

21st sept, we began our evening by going to Hawally,coz i wanted to get something for my scrapbook from jarir bookshop but entering Hawally, that too Hawally park during Eid is the Biggest Mistake... we were stuck there for nearly an hour...then finally when we got out..we didnt know where to go coz we didnt plan our day out so we decided to go to crepes at arraya..

B as usual went on with our fav the creme dessert and i tried the pepper steak crepe...it was delicious....it had slices of steak ,mushroom, white onion and a gravy...

Johnny Carino's

20th sunday ,B took me to carino's. It was humid and dusty but it didnt stop us from having fun!! :)

We reached quite late to carino's ,it was around 10:50 pm and B had to reach bank by 11:30 so we rushed and ordered as soon as we reached...

For Drinks B ordered orange juice and i ordered Amalfi Strawberry Lemonade(Sweet lemonade with strawberries ) which was recommend by the house...it was nice...i enjoyed it with my meals

Before the starters they served us a basket of hot soft italian bread with olive oil and oregano dip

The Variety Appetizer had Sicilian Fire Sticks(Tomato-basil tortillas rolled with Italian sausage, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, jalapenos and Italian cheeses with spicy marinara and ranch), Hand-Breaded Calamari (Thinly cut and lightly fried with spicy marinara sauce) and Mozzarella with Marinara(Breaded in special seasonings with spicy marinara sauce)...One of the best appetizers.....a must try..

For Main course B ordered Spicy Shrimp and Chicken(Penne pasta, cayenne pepper Romano cream sauce, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and green onions) which was delicious and i cedar salmon with spaghetti topped off with tomatoes..it wasnt something i didnt enjoyed coz of the sweet sauce on top of my fish...i hate the combination of sweet and fish...not happening!!

The Spicy Shrimp and Chicken was recommend by B's collegues so it was a sure try...

Well, this is my modified version of ceder salmon .. Yes!! i took it home and modified it :)

Overall, nice quick service,good food,nice atmosphere

had a gr8 time with B :) "thanx for the Bday treat"

The Chocolate Bar @ Avenues- 'B' Bday :)

13th sept 09, Early morning i gave him a suprise at my place with a basket full of goodies from Fauchon and a slice of cheesecake with a candle on it ( sorry B abt the cake but it was last minute) and he got his blackberry :) finally....i was sooo happy to gift him one ,the look on B's face was just amazing :) so worth it!!

It was very diffcult to set anything up coz of ramadan and the timings so everthing was last minute or plans cancelled .. i had to literally change idea's coz of ramadan..but by the end of the day it all went on good...

So in the evening to celebrate his bday, he took me out to The Chocolate bar @ Avenues...

The weather was nice so we sat out and decided to order something different... we ordered one tiramisu espresso, one strawberry shortcake and one caramel crumble...

We didnt really like the Tiramisu espresso ...but the other two was delicious...for my strawberry shortcake i requested marshmellows and it was just yummm,it had vanilla ice cream on the base topped with cubes of shortcake and strawberrry and marshmellows with stawberry syrup :) B's was Caramal and chocolate mousse type centered in a caramel crumble tart cup with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on top of it....yumm!!!

It was a great day!!! Happy Birthday love!!!

Domino's...ramadan offer :)

B was at work and i was at home... B and his collegues ordered Pizza from domino's so after listening to that i got really hungry and they had the offer of buy one get one free when it wasnt even monday :) so my sister and i collected money ( we were broke !! ) and ordered...

B had ordered one medium Margarita and one phily cheesesteak and my sister and i ordered one margarita and one medium half and half (BBQ legend and tex mex chicken)

BBQ chicken and philly cheese steak was not very happening...and the rest were fine..but we all wanted pizza :)

Krushers @ KFC

Krushers is a new series of smoothies introduced last week by KFC...

As usual..we had to try it..we wanted to try it the 1st day we saw it on the glasses of KFC but it wasnt available.. so finally by the end of the ramadan week we got to taste it...

They have three Flavours, Strawberry, cookies & cream and chocolate chips.

We had the cookies & cream,which was nice for a change :)

Initally is tasted good but then B said it tasted as usual.. i guess we had alot of smoothies so they all taste alike :)

Pizza Hut @ Farwaniya

We were craving Pizza for so long...so finally B decided to go for it...we wanted margarita real bad...

while driving we noticed that the old pizza hut is demolished and opened in a complex near by...this was ok but the one which was demolished was much better!!

well,once we reached there we ordered the variety starter ,pepsi for me and 7up for him and one medium half n half pizza ...margarita and smoked turkey...

The margarita was just simply amazing....pizza didnt taste sooo good for quite some time :)

we enjoyed our time at pizza hut :)

Caribou coffee-Cheese Cake

B is shifted to the head office so caribou is like right down his office... :)

After an exhausting work day, B suprised me with a cheesecake from caribou...this was the Berry Cheesecake...

My God it was amazing...can they be more better.. :)

La Baguette @ Farwaniya

1st Sept 09, After gym i went home and got out again with my sis to get a Bday cake for a relative's bday. At first we decided Mr. Baker coz i had recieved a very interesting flyer the other day with some new cakes...but when i reached there they only had the regular chocolate cakes and rest all were sold out...so we decided to cross the road and have a look at La Baguette..

La Baguette had a good variety...mouth watering looks ..yumm...

well, i was really tempted to get my hands on this cake

Its STRAWBERRY... but we had a doubt if our relative's would like it..so we decided to go for this..its caramel cake

It was soft and delicious..i have had better ones..but cake is cake and i love cakes :)

They had ice cream cakes too...but the best ice cream cake is at Baskin Robbins...
