My First Bad Experience at Starbucks - Avenues

It was a beautiful evening, B and i decided to hang out and sip on some Starbucks ...since it was packed on the first level of the avenues we decided to go to the one on top!
Our Order:
  • One Orange Juice
  • Iced Coffee

The person behind the counter was very sweet and friendly...we finished our order, took it off the table and went off to sit...as usual i started clicking pics and right after that one of the staff comes up to us with a bad face and attitude saying that i picked up the wrong order and took it away replacing with my original order... i knew it was wrong on my part and i did apologise but that attitude wasnt necessary at all!! it was an honest mistake, i usually order the dulce de leeche or caramel frapp so it just slipped out of my head that i ordered something different this time!! i would have paid for it!!
I understand they have loads on their mind and working in shifts ,dealing with customers every second can be nerve wreaking but a bad attitude for something so small which wasnt really necessary was not acceptable!!

Beside all this, the iced coffee wasnt that interesting!! it was just ok!! not worth all this!!

We were disappointed with this behaviour!! We have been going to Starbucks for years and never ever had any problems with the staff ...

So i didnt have a proper drink and plus ended up with a bad mood the whole evening!!
B handled it very well thou!! thanks love!!

You seem to not totally understand. It shouldn't make you so upset to the point of ruining your afternoon. That's too much! We must be prepared to those things and as you know people doesn't always react as "expected" and we get bad surprises that ruins "part" - I always hope this period of time as the max. :o) - of our day.
I never went to any starbucks (there isn't one here in (O)Porto - Portugal but the idea of being served in a plastic cup err... it just doesn't make too much "sense" HERE where the caffe (the space) culture predominates. Everythings is in glass and forks spoons etc all in metal (even if cheap and not total shape metal).
Thanks for all of your "reviews" i'm still reading your blog. Cheers! Mike. POR.

Hi it's nice to see your blog,

either the person approach you is Asian (Indian or Pakistani), mmmm everywhere they seem to have the same attitude, in gravity of the word attitude i dont mean that harsh but really they have a poor way of approaching peopo elaborate :0le.

a filipino? mmmmm. if you notice most restaurants and fastfood with filipino staff are well equiped with sparkling smile and smell ;-)! Maybe the person is feed-up with the lovelife. no need to elaborate.
