Crumbs - Eclipse Competition

Crumbs has recently launched a competition for the new Twilight Saga movie arriving in Kuwait theaters on 8th July 2010. Those wishing to enter need to go to Crumbs Eclipse Competition and answer some simple Trivia on the Twilight Saga. There will be 10 winners to be announced on the 5th of july. Each winner recieves 3 VIP tickets to attend the showing of Eclipse on its release date in the 360 Mall VIP cinema with Crumbs.

Lino's Coffee - Watermelon & Cheese Cake Sorbet

I wanted Ice Cream and B wanted to sip on something and we happen to see Lino's serving ice cream... :) So it was time to taste Lino's ice cream!!
Our Order:

2 scoops sorbet ( Watermelon and Cheesecake) KD 1.700 ( each scoop is KD 0.850)
Pineapple Juice KD 1.500

Total Cost : KD 3.200

B actually ordered for Pina Colada but instead got Pineapple juice ..wrong order but we didnt mind it coz it was their first time..and then i ordered watermelon and cheesecake with strawberries as toppings and chocolate strawberry syrup..it was decent ...we didnt like the cheesecake one...watermelon was nice...they have loads to choose from with toppings..make sure u ask them what flavors and toppings coz they dont have a menu yet for their sorbets...

Overall the sorbets werent all that great...i liked their presentation thou.. maybe 'll try some other flavor next...

Ayam Zaman -World Cup at Crowne Plaza

Last Thursday, My friends and i decided to watch the match at Crowne Plaza..
My friends had reached their before me and informed me that only Ayam Zaman is showing the match!!i was shocked coz it wasnt mentioned on the flyer!!
Ayam Zaman was packed...after moving and being tossed around a couple of times we finally got a seat near the screen!! We watched the match for sometime and decided to order some drinks and my friends wanted sheesha. We placed the Order and in no time we got the drinks and the sheesha...
There were enough of staff for that night to check on everyone..but i dont know why especially my friends were being ignored and it was not acceptable...they wanted coal change for their sheesha...and had to ask several times from different people but no one responded then finally i saw my friends loosing their patience and that was not nice !! so i went up to the supervisor and discussed the problem with him..he was nice and helpfully!!normally i wouldnt do something like this but this it was extremely rude of them to ignore my friends...
so finally we were getting the service which we should have got like 15- 20 mins back...personally i was a bit disappointed with what happened coz this has never happened to us before...i agree it was a busy night..basically house full at Ayam Zaman but they should have been prepared for it especially when it was the game night!! come on!!!
The drinks were nice....we enjoyed it..but after the slow service we really didnt feel like ordering anything to eat...

2 sheesha's (each KD 2.9500)

The service of Ayam Zaman in Salmiya is way better than the one in Crowne Plaza..sorry guys we love u'll but u really got to improve on the service!!

Napket- Ansam's icy yogurt & Original with Watermelon mix

B and i had Ansam's icy yogurt quite some time back but i couldnt upload the pics :(

so finally im posting it today :)

We enjoyed both our icy yogurt's
we love pomegranate but these were not fresh :( the pomegranate seeds should have been more fresh , juicy and fleshy... :) rest was just yummylicious!!
