The Wedding Expo 2011 And Wagamama

Wedding are occasions for a lifetime of memories. The Wedding Expo caters to elite brides to be in Kuwait, exhibiting high end and designer brands. The annual event offers all this products and services required to plan, design and execute your dream wedding.
The 3 day exhibition opens with a ‘by invitation only’ event featuring catered service and drinks. The second day and third days will be open to public. Participants include famous names in the fields of bridal couture, jewelry, beauty salons and spas, flowers and décor, photography and music, catering wedding favors and invitations.
The wedding expo will be promoted and marketed by way of magazines, online social networking and VIP invitations. Reputed media outlets are expected to make their presence felt at the event.
The main sponsor was the Korloff paris and the co-sponsors were Lazurd, marie clarie, four films, soor media, PAD and Thouq magazine.
My sister and i had gone for the Wedding expo on the 3rd day which was on 17th. According to us the expo could have been more bigger ..they could have had more brands involved but the best ever brand whose designs i was really looking forward to see was Pronovias …I registered for it as well!!! Love ..love.. love.. love.. Elie Saab!! His collection is breath taking… he's definitely on my list and the sweet lady who assisted us with the designs and the procedure...u made my day :)
Also there was Ziad Antoun with its haute couture designs & his main display with Swarovski crystals.loved the Royal cards and the Bouquet flowers co.

In the food section we saw an 8 layered white cake covered with fondant roses n calla’s from Lazurd . The nut tree, Kakao and the Divine …

Overall it was a small lovely expo for all the brides to be… also really cute goodies... :)

After the expo my sister and I had some time to our self before dinner with family so we decided to eat something light…
After looking around we decided to dine in at Wagamama…its been on my hit list ever since its first opening!! So finally we were there…

Our Order:
* Chicken Katsu Curry ( Chicken fillet deep fried in panko breadcrumbs served with a lightly spiced curry sauce and Japanese style rice. Garanished with mixed leaves and pickles) KD 3.750
This is also available with grilled chicken breasts.

* Gyoza (five steamed, grilled chicken and vegetable dumplings. served with a chilli, garlic, sesame and soy sauce) KD 1.950

* One small bottle of Evian water (500ml)

Total was KD 6.930

I totally loved it all...it was yummylicious but my sister is one tough cookie..she found the found good not bad but good!! i enjoyed the gyoza ( i heart gyoza's) and the chicken Katsu curry was everything i was looking forward too...i have read soo much about it on all the blogs that it was a must to have it...it good in quantity so my sister and i shared it!! the gravy didnt get the rice or the chicken soggie or mushy which was really good!! i would definitely go back to try out more dishes!!! :)

Loved the idea of the bridesmaids in sugared almond coloured outfits, all different. This couple look like they are going to have a lifetime of happy times together and will spread a few smiles around on their way.
