Our Anonymous friend told us that Landmark Group is planning to launch Zafran in place of Jungle Restaurant. Zafran is quite popular in Dubai.
Zafran offers casual Indian cuisine in a trendy and relaxing atmosphere at competitive prices.
I did not have enough information about the restaurant so i searched it out and to my suprise the restaurant is a part of Chef Atul Kochhar... i first saw the chef on Great British Menu which was a tv series on BBC but i watched it on KTV 2...
He was in the series three (2008) from London and the south-east!! he wasnt a winner but it was a joy to watch him on the show!
No fix dates yet...we will update you soon on that :)
Well, we at B & D are sad that Jungle Restaurant is closing down but excited for the New Restaurant... :)

Zafran will be opening on the 9th June to the public! Even home delivery will start at the same time.
