For Valentines day my sister , her best friend and i had gone out for dinner...we were in shaab and all of us were in a mood for some japanese food so we decided to dine at Meli Melo...
They didnt have a special menu for Valentine's day so we ended up ordering from their menu!!
Our Order:
- Yaki Tori ( Tender pieces of chicken grilled on bamboo skewers with teriyaki sauce) KD 2.000
- Shrimp Tempura (served with creamy sweet mayo salsa) KD 3.750
- 2 Wafu Gayoza KD 2.000each (KD4.000)
- Chicken Spicy Plum Sauce (deep friend chicken with spicy plum sauce)KD 2.000
- Crazy Maki ( Prawn Ebi Tempura, Kani Sticks, Cucumber, crunchy flakes , sesame seeds in mayo teriyaki sauce on top - 8 pcs) KD 4.500
- Mojito ( Sweet lime and mint leaves in sparkling water) KD 0.950
- Cosmo Summer Berries ( Raspberry, blackcurrent and blueberry with sparkling water) KD 0.950
- Water KD 0.750
Total Cost: KD 18.900
Yaki Tori was a bit on the chewy side , the gyoza and shrimp tempura was delicious , the chicken in plum sauce was ok not that great , the crazy maki was yummylicious.. we all loved it!! and the drinks were refreshing!! the best among all was the crazy maki...

Overall,
- Quality, Quantity, taste and presentation was good
- Open Kitchen
- Small restaurant with limited seating area- nice interiors
- Good variety to choose from in the menu
- Friendly staff- good service
- Limited parking space
- Reasonable pricing
