Breakfast at MILK Cafe

Al- Seif strip has some of my favorite restaurants..one in edition would be MILK!!

MILK the name itself was very unusual at first, so i asked why was it named MILK and well its simple.. just the fact that everything in their menu has milk in it!!(dairy products)

It was time for my favorite meal of the day..BREAKFAST!!

My sister and i went in for some breakfast before my flight!! i was excited to see what they had lined up for us...coz i have heard and read good reviews about their food.

The interiors are modern with white, pink, black and light gray as their colors, this cozy small beautiful restaurant have good indoor/outdoor seating available...

For Breakfast we were recommended to try their :
Manchego scrambled eggs : served with turkey bacon, grilled portobello mushrooms, grilled baby tomatoes and sliced french bread to the side with butter..
The Eggs were cooked to perfection, the manchego cheese on the scrambled eggs gave more flavor to it, My favorite was the juicy tender fleshy portobello mushroom..its was delicious!!
Denver Omelette : a mix of bell peppers, Onions & Cheddar cheese..a bite of the omelette with mushroom would take your taste buds for a ride.. :)

All this with some freshly squeezed Orange juice ...
Next was the Buttermilk Blueberry Pancakes served with Blueberry sauce(as i recall)
It was delicious but too heavy for me...loved the sauce thou!!
It's time to meet.. Nutella Crepe... now people..i am not kidding, the moment i took a bite of this crepe i paused and looked at my sister and told her...let go of the blueberry pancake and try this out...it was just nutella singing in my mouth...i heart the nutella crepe... i remember telling them that the Nutella crepe killed the blueberry pancake...no offense but it really did!! :)
Towards the end we felt like we need something more to end our whole delicious breakfast and so we decided to try out their frozen yogurt but they were out of stock..over!! so we decided to order Ricotta cheesecake with sweetened balsamic jam...It was yummylicious ...i loved the sweetened balsamic jam topped with strawberries...

Last but not the least..behold!! its the chocolate dippers & that's my momo giving the cup some bunny ears :D

We asked for the milk chocolate dipper...we loved the way the block of chocolate was melting while stirring into the hot milk..it looked and smelled sooo yummylicious!!

Its my favorite...i hate my chocolate milk to be over the top sweet or too chocolaty ..this was a perfect balance.. I will be trying the white chocolate soon :)

Once we were done with all, we were digging around to see if we could take something home and found packets of meringue, chocolate blocks, chocolate honeycombs etc...
It's nice to incorporate them into your holiday gift baskets or just something to keep you going through the day for your sweet cravings :)
Momo its always nice to have breakfast , lunch or dinner with you... my lovely momo!! muwaaah!!

Overall:
  • Quality , Quantity, Taste and presentation was good
  • Simple and neat menu...good options to choose from
  • Beautiful interiors
  • Indoor and outdoor seating available
  • Good Service - Helpful & friendly staff ..with a big smile on their face.. :)
  • Reasonable pricing
Special thanks to Lujain Al Fulaij for inviting us!! :)
